David White, one of the columnists at wines.com wrote an interesting article dubunking wine myths. He tackles the 5 top myths including:

  1. Serve white wine with fish and red wine with meat.
  2. Sparkling wines like Champagne are only for special occasions.
  3. Sophisticated wine drinkers avoid Chardonnay and Merlot.
  4. There are no good wines for less than $20.
  5. Serve white wines chilled and red wines at room temperature.
